Every online payment, digital government service, artificial intelligence (AI) application, cloud platform, video conference, e-commerce transaction, medical record, research project, manufacturing automation system, financial service, and social media interaction ultimately depends upon secure, reliable, and high-performance data centres.

Recognizing this transformation, the Government of Gujarat has unveiled the Viksit Gujarat Data Center Policy 2026–29, a landmark initiative aimed at positioning Gujarat as India's

preferred destination for hyperscale data centres, AI infrastructure, cloud computing ecosystems, and digital infrastructure investments.
